Opa-Locka, FL

Magnolia North Park is a symbol of hope in a blighted neighborhood, once considered among the more dangerous areas in Miami-Dade County. The design of this vibrant community hub was the outcome of a participatory design process which inspired a collective vision for the park. The park was built by the community and continues to be maintained by the community. The project was completed in collaboration with landscape architects Roberto Rovira and Anwar Morales.
