The healing garden at Jackson Memorial Hospital serves as a nature refuge for patients and staff. The garden uses research based design methods to improve patient and staff well-being by providing space for relaxation and psychological restoration.  An immersive garden is created through the inclusion of intrinsically soothing plants and trees with a range of colors and textures and a central water feature echoing calming background sounds.
